Paramount MX, or ME
Anyone heard anything about the paramount MX? We all know the ME is awesome, but the MX was launched and I haven't heard squat about it.

thank you Marc. I'm feeling pretty good about this one. The CGE pro was just so troublesome and I was seriously depressed. After reading blogs it seems like there's CGE pro's that work like Jeff's, and ones that don't. Hopefully this Paramount works well and I'm back in business taking good shots, else i'm giving up and Trevor is going to get one hell of a care package!!!!!! lol

Got the paramount ME today. Comnplicated to set up for sure, but boy, the CGE pro seems like a toy next to it. This thing is a peice of engineering, wow. Reminds me of the first time I saw a moonlite focuser and it seemed like the most impressively built part of my telescope. Well now, the paramount is. this thing is awesome. Mounted it on my existing pier which isn't really stable enough for this mount, but I'm redoing my deck in a month so I'll reset a paramount ME pier then. amazing piece of equipment. Clear skies tonight but going to read manual before turning on.

I've decided on an ME. This celestron CGE pro sucks, so many little issues. I'm sick and tired of having a mount that I can't get to work. Read blogs, seems like you either get an error prone one or you don't... I do. Anyway, ME consistency and automated system is perfect, i'm going to splurge big and get it maybe this weekend.

Don't know. It's odd, perhaps they haven't shipped many of them.
