Finally, some clear skies (Albeit short lived...)
I decided to try out my new LVI autoguider. Alas, as
the autoguider rings haven't arrived in the post yet,
I was unsuccessful in this endeavour. Not one to be
deterred, I shot what time I could of M42 unguided.
After some heavy discrimination of viable processing
frames and a couple of hours processing, here's the
result.
30 x 60s, unguided.
ISO 800.
30 darks.
Calibration, Registration, Integration, Dynamic Background Extraction, Background Neutralisation, Colour Calibration, Histrogram Transform, HDR Transform, Dark Structure Enhance with PixInsight.
