Really looking forward to getting all the new stuff out and trying it out. Need some cooperation from the weather. This scope got some great reviews and was one of the hot products in 2010. The price was right at $449 plus discount.

Awesome ! My next scope is going to be 8" f/4 and I have narrowed it down to two , this one and the Orion .I would be very interested in your thoughts after you put this beautiful beast through it's paces.

Hey Marc,
Was mentioning to Hopper that unless I'm able to get out soon I'll be bankrupt buying this stuff. Yeah, she is a saint. Shakes her head a lot mind you. On the other hand she's a clothes horse and I'm fine with that as long as I can get my electronic toys. Sold my Celestron 8SE to make room for the new AT 8" so no addition yet. I think I'm done buying - that is more or less an order by the boss, so I need the weather to change so I get out. Still way below normal - rain today, snow tomorrow.

David this pic didn't slide by, I saw it and I'm envious (f4 yeah+good reviews). Did you finish the addition on the house yet to store your scopes? Have Fun, Marc PS Tell your wife she is a saint.

Even nicer if I could get it out - hoping the f/4 is way better than my 8SE was for imaging.
