Thanks Marc,

Worked at this one. It's your shots that are pushing me to modify the DSLR. Especially the Heart Nebula. I thought I'd done ok capturing it, until I saw the entire nebula that you captured, instead of just the center portion that I got. I tried the 20D and D1000 a couple of times and think I'm going to use the D1000 to modify.....live view that the 20D doesn't have and seems to be much faster acquiring the image. Lucky to have gotten the used 20D at a really low price so I'll use that one as my 'everyday' camera. I'm going to have it modified here in Kitchener-Waterloo - they don't use Astrodon, but once I start mailing things away here, I get hit with custom charges, brokerage fees etc, for the entire shot, so I'd be paying as if I bought a new camera. I did get a couple of AD/DC adapters so I don't have to use batteries and can just plug in that I think will help especially if I ever get out over the next 3 months.

Thanks Trevor,

I remember that one well. Kept trying to get just a few extra exposures....I think Poti took one that was better at the same time. His are hard to beat.
