Had a clear night last night, but wasn't able to leave home and had to image through the light pollution. The galaxy couldn't fit onto the sensor so I had to break this down into a two frame mosaic, each frame being 75 minutes (15 x 5 minutes).

It came together very nicely for you. Galaxies are my favorite objects, too, but quite challenging. I would very much like to get a zoomed-in image of this one. I started out using a Meade DSI II color but then soon switched to a dslr. Shots like this one tempt me to give the DSI another try.

Thanks Jeff. I had a tough time trying to get it blended together at first because one frame was soft on focus and had a lot of noise. Galaxies are by far my favourite target and it's nice to know that I can image some of them from the city.
