I was going after an interesting looking galaxy group consisting of NGC 474 (center of image) and NGC 470 (center top) and NGC 467 (unfortunately it lies just beyond the edge of my shot). I was drawn towards 470 while looking from some interesting galaxies to shoot in Pisces, then noticed that there appeared to be some faint smudges around 474 that extend beyond the brighter central core. I did a little research and there is very complex set of "rings" around both 474 and 467... it was this detail I was hoping to image. I managed 40 minutes which is probably about 4 hours too little so I'm hoping next weekend will give me some clear skies so I can attempt this group again. However I did manage to get a little of the brighter portion of the rings around 474 though.
