A look at M81-M82 and Holmberg IX Not much data here and I may add to it but pretty pleasing look. About 20 minutes RGB each and an hour or so Luminance

Dave,
I was just now looking over the last few M81's that you've re-processed and I like this one the best. I'm not sure if you realize but the uneven background you have here is part of the "flux" around M81 and M82. I was just comparing it to other shots and I'm definitely seeing it in your shot. I think it's absolutely great that you've picked it up with a "relatively" short exposure!

Thanks Conor, I dropped the blue shadows a bit and then the red and then the green and then the RGB but yep it evened it out pretty well. You drop one shadow and bang you have to drop the others an RCH.

Charles needs to set the pics up so you can swap them out with an updated version rather than create a new post.

Low frequency blue is a little too strong but goddamn, that is a beautiful shot man. I've rarely seen the starburst region in the M82 so clearly in amateur shots. You've done a really nice job of processing here, Dave.
