Still suffering from cloudy weather syndrome I have been reduced to reprocessing. I took the data from my previous FrankenTrifid and combined it with my recent effort and here is what I got, hope you likey....

Thanks Derek, it is a beautiful region and luckily within the small "window" of sky that I have in my suburban backyard. Thanks for taking a look and commenting.

Excellent reprocess Trevor. Everything looks natural in tone, colour, and brightness. I have taken some images of this field, and I have NEVER been happy with my results, largely because of the background colours that you mentioned. (I also attributed some of the background variations to light pollution or poorly-done flats...lol !) For some reason my backgrounds end up looking 'dirty' (for a lack of a better term.....), but you have none of these problems. Well done! :-)

Thanks Marc. This is all the data that I have on this object with the 102mm and the 127mm mak. I was kinda bummed when after showing my first version of this, someone on here said that the background red was due to light pollution....then someone commented that the greenish out part was due to the limitations of one shot color ccds. So, after trying to process out the red, and viewing multiple deep sky images of this object I am proud to say the red belongs there. And after adding the old data my green turned blue...sooooo...I am kind happy with this ;)

Thanks for taking a look and commenting....Clear Skies Brother!
