Thanks Steve. I'm very impressed with the XSi's capabilities, with the right equipment it can produce some beautiful shots. I'm looking forward to trying to photograph other planets, Jupiter is starting to look good already :)

I shot this with my C925 using a 2x barlow and my Canon XSi (back in October). I used a program called EOS camera movie record to capture about 3000 individual frames. Then, using registax, I combined the best 300 (or so) frames and played around with the wavelet filters to bring out the details and finally used a few filters in Photoshop to sharpen and bring out more detail.
