Reprocess of my early post. Stretched out the red and blue a little as well as made the stars more round.

Thanks Pat,
I used a technique in Photoshop.
I make a duplicate layer of the main layer (after I do all my data adjusting). I select that layer, select all (ctrl A)and shift the image one pixel in the opposite direction the stars are stretched... ie: if it appears the stars are elongated top to bottom I'll move the layer one pixel up.
I then select the layer mode as Darken.
For this image I made two copies of the background image and shifted one up and the other to the left, darkened both and flattened the image.
Hope that's clear as mud.
