Forgot my laptop at home and didn't feel like driving two hours to get it. Not wanting to waste the night I hooked up the XSi to my finder (100mm Skywatcher) and took 30sec exposures

The total exposure is about 16.5 minutes. I was actually very surprised that it turned out... when I found that I had forgot the laptop I ended up doing some visual, it wasn't until about two hours in that I thought of trying out 30 sec exposures... luckily I had the forsight to bring along an SD card for the camera :)

Nice job, I admire you for pressing on despite forgetting your laptop!! I think most of us would have grumbled something nasty and gone home.

Whoa, very nice Kevin! #0 sec exposures? What was the total exposure time?
