Antares 127mm refractor
Meade DSI III
Luminance only, 7x300 seconds
Playing around with the OAG, works great but now it seems as though my optics need a little collimating.

I just found out yesterday that there a SN in M65! I "discovered" it in this shot 7 days too late :)
There's three stars visible in M65 forming a triangle. The bottom star is the SN!

Thanks Jeff.
I used to have a DSI II, moved to DLSR and then was going to buy an ATIK 314l+. Turns out the DSI III Pro uses the same chip as the ATIK and I was able to get one at a great deal... 1/3 of the price of the ATIK and new in the box :) Sure it doesn't have active cooling, but I can live with it for now, and it'll be a nice sensitive guider when I make the leap to a more expensive CCD.

Hey that is really good work with the DSI - you are tempting me to give mine another try!

Thanks Fred.
The tracking was spot on, I didn't even have to align the subs before I stacked them... best I've ever had.
Now if I can collimate this old refractor I'll be really happy... might be time to put it out to pasture though :)
