In the Midst of The Great Rift

Vulpecula and Sagitta lie deep in the Milky Way's Great Rift.

This region required only a 30 minute exposure @ f/5.6 and revealed the subtle meanderings of the Great Rift's dark nebulae. Under careful examination you will notice subtle differences in the Rift's opacity that usually escape in most images. View full size in a dark room to see this.
