Classic Meade 2080 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain with Vogel Digitrack II Dual-Axis Drive Corrector, permanently mounted in an observatory in my front yard. The roll-off-roof slides back under the dark skies of Maine.
I image wide-field vistas using traditional photographic methods via a Pentax 67 medium format camera system with lenses from 45mm to 300mm. Dark skies, coupled with long exposures with professional equipment produces amazing results.
Hi James. Thanks for the welcome. BTW, I had a good look at your shot of Sharpless 2-27. Nice work on such a large diffuse object. In addition to your abundant photography skills, you must also have great skies at your imaging site!

Thanks much. We're operating in the "dark" in our rehab efforts. Every ray of light helps.
