Yep, this is the Canon 1000-D modified. Huge field is right. Ended up getting a telephoto lens for the Canon. This is about 180mm out of the max 300 piggbacked on the 80mm Sirius apo. One hour of LRGB and one hour of Ha and combined in PSE7. You have to make sure the telephoto lens has no image stabilization since there's a middle lens projection that prevents it fitting into the camera if the clip on Ha filter is in place - so I learned a bit late.

Wow, huge FOV. Very Jealous. Just did a mosaic of this...took me five panels and my FOV is only 1/2 this. This the DSLR?
