I have the ST2000XCM CCD that comes with the integrated guider. I find that using an external guider, like the Orion SS Autoguider works better. What are your experiences?

Charles, in response to your question, no I have not done this, but would image it would work fine. You will probably want a longer fl lense like 200mm plus. Shorter than that would have an overwhelming large fov. You might want to create a discussion on this topic.

I'm going to get the canon lense adaptor for my ST8MXE for wide field shots. Anyone done this, does it work well?
