I knew that Adaptive Optics were used on very large professional telescopes - but now they are also available for amateur instruments? It basically counters the atmospheric turbulence, correct? When I looked at your shot in full res, I was astonished at the pinpoint sharpness of your stars. Just incredible.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. The scope is a Takahashi TOA-130 refractor and the camera is an SBIG STL-11000M. I use the Adaptive Optics with this as well which is why the stars look so sharp as it gives you flawless tracking. Subs are 10 mins for luminance and 5 for RGB.
