The Usual Hook-up
This is how the T1i is usually connected to my C6. T1i > Adapter Ring > SCT T-Adapter, Hirsch FR > back of the rear cell of the SCT (visual back removed).

Hmm, this one looks suspect.

The distance between the back of the glass of the FR and the face of the sensor is 105 mm - I think that setup exceeds that thus giving you a lot of issues.
