This image was taken by a friend of mine this past weekend. I thought it was good enough to share, what do you all think?
Be fair but honest - I've been trying to get him to join AG.
Thanks
Here's a copy paste of what he said: Another gorgeous fall night, a bit chilly but no wind. This composite of the NA and Pelican nebulae was taken with my little TMB-92 at f/5.5 apo refractor, an IDAS LPS-V3 filter and the Hutech modified Canon 6D. Each is a stack of 2 x 3 min exposures at ISO 3200 combined in PS CS-6. Note the absence of significant noise even at this high ISO. Great camera.
Enjoy,
Klaus

Ya, one of your club members has the 60Da and Klaus got to play with it extensivly. Then saw what the 6D could do and bought that instead.
Well that is just too cool. I read about the Canon 60Da in Astronomy Magazine and they showd a single shot 3 minute exposre of the NA Neb that looked fantastic. Your friends 6D mod seems to work amazingly fantastic, low noise and hand stacked in SC6, nice, very impressive.
Just updated the imaging details.
Here's the crazy this about this image. It's a mosaic and it's a stack of 2 - 3 minute shots each. No-calibration files.
Lorraine loved it to so now you are up to two
Thanks Phil - I'll let Klaus know he has one thumbs up!!!
Fantastic, love it
