very cool. My focuser is not "hi-end"...just a replacement 2" crayford from Orion. But I purposely cut the hole a little short knowing that I would need to be a little short to reach focus.

Trevor, That is true. If you can come to Prime Focus now you will be able to with the MPCC. My focuser is just a cheap synta, same as on a Celestron C8N. For my focuser I ended up having to buy a Mercury Systems 2" adapter with compression ring. I could unscrew the 1 1/4 ep holder and it had a T-Thread, I could come to focus. But you could not do the same with the 2" ep holder. It was about an inch to long to come to focus. The Mercury Systems adapter screws right to the end of the focuser tube and I have more than enough in focus now.
I dunno...ever the frugal shopper went with the cheapest shipping...usps...only 7 dollars but we'll see how long it takes to get out here. Ordered it on Tuesday I think. No matter. Mad cloudy skies here. Can't wait to get it. Do you use any spacers or anything to reach focus? It said that if you can reach focus without it, you can reach with...so I am hoping all will work well. Right now I can reach focus with the ccd with room on both sides of focus to spare. Have some spacers to, but not sure if compatible. We'll see. Fingers crossed, very excited to see what this will be capable of when all is said and done.

Thanks Trevor, yep the trusty Konus. No guiding though. How long before you get your MPCC?
