Thanks Trevor for the comment. The photo is full frame, not cropped. I resized it before I uploaded it. I also reduced the resolution so that the file size would be only 100Kb or so. The reason I did this is to reduce load on the server. The 200mm Canon F2.8L is a great astrophoto lens. I can shoot wide open at F/2.8 with marginal degradation of the image. I prefer to do that because stopping down causes spikes to show around the brighter stars due to the iris in the lens. Thanks again... CLS, Ed

Looks good Ed. Is this cropped, or reduced? Tried to look at the "Full Sized" but looked the same. I imagine the Canon produced great big images...

Very nice image Ed ! The colours turned out beautifully, as well as the dark nebulae!
