The image of the North end of the Eastern Veil Nebula(also known as IC 1340) was taken with the Planewave CDK20 20” telescope and a FLI16803 camera. It is comprised of 76 separate 20 minute narrowband images images taken over 25 hours. Hydrogen Ha and Sulfur Sii are blended for red and Oxygen Oiii is blue green.

Very nice, Michael. I might suggest that while blending H-a and S-II for red, and using O-III for blue/green gives you somewhat realistic (natural) color, you can get more variation in the hue by using a more "mixed up" blend. I don't remember exactly what mix I used, but it probably included blending some S-II into the green channel: http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/2762655719?profi...
