Hi Brian, thanks for the nice comments. I use a webcam to capture the planets. For the longest time I was using a Philips SPC900NC with the simple doggle mod but recently I purchased a ZWO ASI120MC, it has a great chip in it and the frame rate options are great (1fps to 250fps). I have tried with my Canon T1i but with no success other than shooting single frames of the moon. Webcams work the best for the planets because of the hi frame rate, best is usually around 60fps or above for Saturn, Jupiter, Venus or Mars. This gives you plenty of good frames to stack in RegiStax. All the best, Phil
Nice capture and I like the processing job, lots of detail but not over done. I am just learning AP with DSLR canon 1100D and this gives me hope.
Be Well

Thanks Patrick, the 3x Barlow comes in handy too and really solid alignment. My issue is always focus due to the atmospheric noise coming off the desert (heat really) so hard to tell if I am in focus or not and that is even with a feather touch focuser. Love my C8 and I am sure you would love one too.
Nice! I need a C8.
Thanks Jeffrey, I was out last night and before I knew it it was 4am. I will be posting the good one later today. Thanks again, a Wow! is always welcomed.
Wow!
