Funny enough, when I asked the question I was going to ask if this was Algonquin Park. It is my favorite place on the planet. My forst time there I was 8 and all the way through my teens I spent many weekend hiking the trails and in the canoe. As an young adult with lorraine my wife we spent much of our time camping and hiking all the trails of the hwy 60 corridor, we even did the wolf howl one evening. We lived in Brampton at the time, we then moved to Ottawa, from Ottawa we would explore the east side of the park and make Achry Station our base and conoe from there. We even made it up to the Brent Crater one year. My last summer before moving to germany and now in AZ USA I spent a total of 45 days in the park. I miss it dearly. I am working on a sereis of painting from my memories in the park right now. What town are you in? Love your image, I just finished a painting from Grand lake with the milkyway as the back drop. All the best, Phil
