Finally getting some clear skies. Windy as all hell last night but still managed to get something in.

My ccd is a dual chip, so very easy....of course shooting through filters at longer FL's can be a pain in rear. I compensate by doing longer exposures (10 sec) and binning the guide chip.

Cool, I'm starting to think that OAG is the way to go.. I am having trouble imaging through the AT8RC using a guide scope because of flexure...somewhere...

Thanks Steve! Imaging and guiding through the same scope keeps the weight down and easier to balance. Now if I could only get my neighbor to stop switching on their backyard light....

You guided very well in the wind. Well done T!

Thanks Marc! My tiny little yard is completely enclosed in six foot vinyl fencing. Ugly and confining yes....but does block the wind, lol. Thanks for the shout out!

Came out nice dude. Stars look good, your guiding beat out the wind. Marc

Thanks Trev, sometimes you are thankful for 6 foot high fences!

Awesome detail in there... Over 3 hours soaked into this eh? Id say you made out pretty well for a windy night!!
