Ring Nebula, Messier 57 in B&W

Taken with a Planewave CDK20 telescope on a Paramount ME II mount and a FLI PL16803 camera.Narrowband in the Hubble palette. Ha binned 1:1 and Sii & Oiii binned 2:1. Total of 160 images taken over 40 hours, 30 minutes. This image with the color removed is a synthetic luminance blending in Sii and Oiii with the Ha. The challenge in both images was to do enough imaging to capture the much darker outer parts of the nebula.
