it is only 1.5 hour
have to do a much longer exposure, 4-6 hours
and then beat the old Hale picture :-)

Beautiful image....almost as many galaxies as stars. Seeing an image like this really gets you thinking. Great shot.

as a teenager i was stunned by the picture of this group with the 200" Hale telescope
asked them the coördinates and got a friendly and helpful note back
i never dreamed i could grab a similar picture years later with my own scope :-)
