Cloudy skies here so I looked at the sattellite and Google Earth and drove 260 miles one way for - NOTHING! Caught a glimpse of the bugger through my 20 x 80 binocs but no go with the cam and scope, as it was way down low and partially obscured by sun-chasing cirrus clouds. I should have stayed home here in Toledo and watched "The Americans" on FX.

3-13-13, Wilmington, IL @ approx. 21:00 CDT. Random dark frame taken some unknown date. As good as anything, 'cause I got nothing!

Well, what the hey, you only live once. Besides, if I HADN'T gone, the sight would have been spectacular and I would have kicked myself for days after seeing all those great images taken from the very same location where I planned on going, but didn't.

Jeff to the mechanic: "I can't believe it's not doing it for you. It does it ALL THE TIME!"
