Hi Mark,

Thank you. I send my unexposed film to a pro lab that does a top notch job. An Epson V600 is used for scanning the frames and I work with Photoshop and PixInsight for processing. I employed Autostitch for the mosaic here.

When contrasting film to digital, most compare to 35mm. Medium format, especially 6x7 is a huge incease in quality as compared to 35mm. Film is best suited for wide-field work and is my only method of astrophotography. All my equipment is from the 80's and I hand correct guiding with a control box and my eye. Old school, but I like it. It was they way I learned in the early 80's.

I'd be glad to correspond with you if you decide to give it a go. If I can be of help, I'm all ears.

Thanks again,

Jim
