I was thrilled when I received my new scope. I had it assembled in just a few hours. Now I'm looking forward to the POD.

Yea, I got aperture and decided to take the leap and get as large a scope as I could physically handle. The 14" is just right. I looked into the Meade 16", but the bottom mirror box was around 60 pounds, so I chose my 14" 47 pound mirror bin. I love the easy use design. I use Baader Hyperion eyepieces, so my view is nice and crisp. anything less is too sloppy to enjoy with that large of a mirror and such a fast scope, f4.6. Orion included the 35mm Deep View, but the scope is too fast to get a decent view through that eyepiece.
