Hi Miquel! "Bin"? You mean like 2x or 3x combining the pixels for greater sensitvity? No, ccd was run in it's regular mode. Just got lucky. Couple of really clear nights, and of course I am a bit closer to the equator than some so the object rises a bit higer in the sky for me. Thanks for taking a look, I'm gld you liked it.

Thanks Mark and Phil...the little 70 is surprising me. But just my own lack of knowledge really. I never had it in real good focus before. She performs pretty well. Part three, the M45 is giving me a run for my money. Haven't gotten to a point that is post worthy yet...and I keep going back and playing with the M42...last count I think I am up to like version 15. Ya know my Mom always told me if I kept playing with it, it would fall off...

Nice work T. You even were able to get that faint outer band to show from the 9:00 to 12:00 pos.
