NGC 4236 is a very low-brightness barred-spiral galaxy. There's a spiral structure, it's just hard to make out. Some reports put it in the same local group as M81, M82.

Thank you! It was so dim, I thought I was in the wrong spot. At less than 30 sec preview only central "star" is visible. But it's fun to see what's there after all.
