Thanks Louie, Marc, Mark, and Trevor for your comments. Trevor, I imaged this with my 12.5" RCOS Truss on an ME mount using an SBIG STL6303E camera, off-axis guided. LRGB:480:150:180:270.

NGC3893/3896 is an M51-type interacting galaxy pair seen in the direction of the Constellation Ursa Major around 50 Million Light-Years distant. NGC3893 is a spiral galaxy, type Sc and NGC3896 appears to be a lenticular galaxy. There is a bridge of gas, dust and stars faintly seen between the two The pair has been studied for dark matter interaction and rotation characteristics between the two.
