To create this image, 6x600s exposures through an H-alpha filter, using a Takahashi TOA150 apo refractor and an STL-110000M ccd camera. This image was captured while there was a nearly-full moon above the horizon, plus the seeing conditions and atmospheric transparency were good.

Files were calibrated, aligned, stacked, and curves applied in MaximDL5Pro, then noise & gradient removal taken care of using Noel Carboni's Astro-tools and Gradient Xterminator respectively. Finally, sharpening, and more levels, curves, and other 'tweaking' applied in PS CS3.

I want to gather more data for this object, to better capture the faint extensions to the nebulosity that are hinted at in this image.....so yet another reprocesses on the way! ;-)
