I tooled around with the Starizona method of combining Ha and RGB data. My hang up is aligning all of the stars. I still get some blooming in the stars that is noticeable when you close up on them. Anyway this is a start.

It is so funny how a day of processing progresses. The first image you cannot wait to post. Then you tweak things and wonder "why did I post that??" and you post the "new" image. Then start looking online as to how others have done it. My goal was to see what I could pull out of the "jaw" region, there is a bunch of cool little regions in there. I would like to know if it is possible to remove an old image with a new one while still keeping the comments. Who is in charge of that...Byland?

Looks like you're hemming and hawing over color (don't we all, lol). There's a good article this month in Astronomy mag. on PS selective color tool by Tony Hallas, I never did know how to use that thing.-- They all got a cool look. I like what you did w/the background (compared to first postings), more focus on the neb. (nice). Good work, Marc

Thanks all for looking and commenting BUT...I've been playing with this all day and this is the best one I've come up with far.
