The Vela Supernova Remnant is huge, a mosaic would be the most appropriate way to picture it. The Pros take combinations of RGB and Narroband data for 20 hours and more. This is a more modest approach, 3 1/2 hours each of H2 and O3. Camera Orion Parse 8300 mono, 80mm Meade Refractor 5000, combined with registar, processing with PS plug ins Astrotools and Star tools..
