NGC 6888 Crescent 19x120s 800iso 2013-08-24ll

Hauled my Newtonian to our summer house (car and boat). PHD was driving me nuts. My polar alignment was almost perfect, any star stayed in the cross for ages. As soon as I engaged PHD the star was kicked around like crazy and eventually lost. Two night I tried to adjust the PHD setup parameters to no avail. After reading a lot of articles on the net I decided to introduce a slight imbalance to the mount's shafts. Last night when testing its seems it helped. It is not perfect but the PHD graph is a lot smoother. NGC 6888 the Crescent Nebula was my target.
