Really nice set up Steve, I will be asking you about your pier at some point, I am thing of doing the same thing. My scope is always set up in the same place in the yard and in the summer months I do not get to use it much because of the extreme heat but there is the odd night it cools down but set up and tear down takes up so much time. Have you found things go quicker with set-up having the pier?

I'm actually tooling with it right now. I have been using it exclusively but a couple times I had it out with the 6RCT and had terrible flexure. Focusing it is a little fiddly, you have to turn the objective to achieve focus and tighten it down with the locking ring. Hopefully I have that all worked out now.
