Balanced it like any equatorial, 21lb. counter weight on a bar on the other side. Any other balancing is done by sliding the scope forward or back, either by the dovetail or sliding inside the rings

cool rig! How did you counterbalance it? I am looking for a counter balance setup for my scope.. do you have the tube system underneath?
