Tonight was the first night in weeks it was going to be clear so I was going to set up but the wind picked up to 25miles an hour so instead I re-worked a few of my moon shots using some filters and double layers in PhotoShop

Hi Sam, Thanks for the kind words, as old as my camera is the best thing it does is get great moon shots, I am working on a one moth cycle with every day right now but it takes time due mostly to me needing sleep. I should have it done in a few months, I am looking forward to posting it for all to see. At he end of the day it is all good fun and learning. Thanks again Phil

Thanks for the kind words, the moon always has something different to show, being our closest celestial body, for me it has always been a fascination. I remember watching Walter Koncrite (Spelling) on the tube as a kid thinking "holy crap there really is a man on the moon". I think that started my need and love to look up every time I went outside when it was dark. I love all the images everyone takes or gets that are on this site but right now for me because of not having the camera equipment the moon is my best target, it has been a great learning experience and when I get the right stuff for imaging I think I will be able to look back at the moon and go "oh hey try that different thing you did last time with the moon". All in all I will always love getting shots of the moon, it feels so close and a part of home and so much history that helped us all in so many ways. Hats off to the good folks who went and got us there. "WE DID LAND ON IT, RIGHT?"
