Very cool man, I have a CGEM-800 and I have been really taking my time deciding what type of camera to get between DSLR or CCD, this has been going on for about a year now. I am leaning towards CCD with the HyperStar. I live in AZ so I am planning on going down to see Dean at Starizona when it cools down a little bit here. He has been very helpful. So far all my shots have been taken A-Focal or with a webcam, the learning has been fantastic so for but much to learn ahead. I understand there is a big learning curve with CCD imagers. Great image considering the time capturing, HyperStar seems like the deal. My guide set up is the same as yours, all ready to go but I have not used it yet...... camera to come. Talk soon

This was with my Celestron CGE 1400, QSI 583 camera and Hyperstar lens for F2 shooting. It was at the end of the evening and I only took 5 1minute images at LRGB. I was guiding with the Orion Starshoot auto guider on the Orion Shorttube 80. It was fairly low in the sky so it wasn't optimal.
