Nothing like starting out "easy!" You are going after some challenging objects for first-timers. In spite of its brightness, M-81 can be a real puzzler when it comes to getting a good image of it. It took many attempts for me to get something that looked half-way decent. You are doing well to get all the basic structure to show. You are off to a nice start!
