To this day I have still only imaged M42 ONCE! This data is from one fantastic night (First time guiding) in late August when it was low on the horizon. I have learned a few things about processing since then and decided to pull as much out of this old data as I could. Here is the result.

6 x 60" ISO 1600
1 X 30" ISO 1600

Stacked with dark, bias and flat

Meade SN6
ASCG-5 GT
Orion Mini Guidescope
Meade DSI II
Canon 450d unmodded
Stacked in DSS
Processed in PS CS5
