A single, 90 sec image taken with a Mallincam in a Meade 8" Schmidt-Newtonian on a Tak EM200 mount. Guided with the Orion Starshoot and PHD. Used Gradient Exterminator to remove the amp glow and cleaned up with Photoshop and Neil Carboni's AstroTools.

I owe this image mainly to the beautiful dark skies of southern New Mexico. I power my Xtreme directly off the 120VAC power supply and have enough for both the camera and the fan kit.

Amazing amount of light for 90 sec. I have an Xtreme but have only used it twice because it draws so much power and I need a better power source. Good shot!
