Imaged from the CCCA Observatory, May 18/19th.

This is one of my on-going projects for the summer. So far I have only got about 1.5 hours of good exposures, but plan on adding more. I suppose I could have waited until then to post this, but I'd love to here some constructive criticism on the processing.

Trevor, there are some EXCELLENT tutorials there! One thing to note, as stated earlier, download the astronomy tools actions.

Thanks for the input Russ. I am currently awaiting my acceptance to the group!

I think your stars are blown out because you pushed it too hard for detail. Now that you're in the DSLR processing group you'll see ways to help prevent that.

This is with the "Shrinking Stars" technique applied. Bob, I do not have that actions set. I will give a try!

Thanks for the comments guys! Steve, about the stars, it is an on-going issue for me. I found a tutorial for shrinking stars but it looked a little unnatural. Any tips for me? I assume better focus is the answer?

Nice image. I rarely see this imaged with an unmodded cam. Its a nice change when the blue channel isn't completely swamped out by the red channel. My only critique would be the stars are a little blown out.

Post 'em if you got 'em! Nice image Trev! You have quite a bit for 1.5 hours. Nice work.
