That should work based on our club experiance. Just set it up so the camera is already attached to the FR and you have a 2" dia adapter to slide into the moonlite focuser.
We didn't have one with us but we all agreed it should work- for next our visit :)
Bring a timer cable or just plan on holding the shutter button. A stack of 20 would just be amazing!!!!
Thanks Russ and thanks for the tip. I will take one for sure. I have a 2" Antares 6.3, that should do the trick.
Sorry, It's a focal reducer.
FR ??????? Not sure what that is.
Ya, if you're going to try to image on that bring your DSLR with a FR or it won't work. The camera won't focus without it.
Hey Thanks Russ, I was just looking at your photos of the Discovery Telescope, pretty cool. I am hoping to do the tour in the coming months but I need to find that last Friday in the month to take off. We were going to go this month but I decided it would be better to go when it is really hot here in the valley.
Glendale!! I'm in Flagstaff Phil. Howdy do.
Nice Herc.
