I was itching to image again, so I set up on Sunday, July 1st. From my best friends light polluted backyard, with a nearly full moon glowing all night, I set EOS Utilities to take as many 2 minute subs of M31 as I could. I ended up with almost 3 hours, and fought through a discouraging processing session to make this monstrosity. lol. This is why you can't image during a full moon!

I don't own any filters Russ. I am planning on picking up an IDAS LPS clip-in filter for my 450d soon.
LOL - what filter did you use?
No joke Russ I spent about 3.5 hours processing. So yes. haha. I just wanted to see if it was possible to capture a decent image under those conditions, turns out it's not. ;)
Not bad...not bad at all.
I'm betting it took you longer to process than to image :)
