M 20: Yes, I am still Haunted....
The next step in the Mosaic! M20, favorite target of mine. Have hit it in the past, but have learned so much from you all, wanted to put it all to the test...and it is an easy target, a beautiful target and happens to sit nicely between my two neighbors houses and my tree for a solid three hours. Hope you all like...or at least think it is better that my previous attempts (and if you do not, then lie!).

Thanks Martin. I kinda like the red....most of which is legit alpha H...which makes it all the more cool. Hoping to combine with two more fames to create a mosaic that will include M8. Just need six more hours on clear moonless night ;)

I just read your own comment: if you want to take out red in the background and perhaps make it a tad darker, a great way to do that in Photoshop is hit Ctrl B for color control, mark "shadows" in the lower left of the window, and then move the red cursor (on top) to the left. You will see the red disappear and at the same time it gets darker. It's a gorgeous shot and makes me want to get a larger set-up!

lol, sadly,already beyond the 5th edition! I think the red looks more 'alive'. Like there are things going on...at first I tried to process out some of the background red...but looking at other pics, the little finger of background red creeping in the lower right and pouring in the left corner and running up the side, that red is actaully there. Not sure if it is just some extra alpha h floating around looking for a home or what but wicked cool. Even when you turn down the red, it is still there, not as obvious but there. Really happy with the stars on this. Nice color variation,shape the whole nine...not quite "Basti stars" but getting there.

I hear you T, I think it looks better w/some red in it (my 1st repro had too much and the 2nd not enough). This is one you can play w/a lot. Kind of a toss up which of your pics I like better, wait I know, I'll hold out for the 5th edition lol. Nice work dude, Marc

Thanks Spike. My backgrounds and stars are usually one of my weaker points, so I am kinda proud of this one>
Phil, steaks on the grill, some veggies and noodles...but I hardly see how that is relevant my friend. Just kidding! Was out pretty late imaging this so needed the caffine...but more so for work the next day. Mosaic is a long way off, but should be wicked!
