Hey Marc, Thanks man. Funny enough 4 emails came in together while you were trying to send the message. I though man Marc is making a lot of comments for one photo and then I realized they were blank. The cloud cover here in AZ has been realy bad so I am trying to image every chanse I get. We just wrapped on a new movie coming out in October so I know have more time in the evenings.

I tried to put a comment on this pic last night and it wouldn't take-kept coming up blank. So as I was saying lol I like how you got a moon in the pic. Very nice collection of pics-you're keeping busy. Marc

LOL - DSO capture....it's all point and shoot my friend.

Yes one would like to think that because of the elevation planets would be easier but we get those darn high altitude winds that really mess with the seeing. What I really need to do is head over to one of our club members house just north of Williams where the seeing is almost always good and shoot from there. Let me know when you're going to visit the crater and lets see if we can get together. Could be fun.

Hey Russ, thanks man. I would be happy to come up to Flag the heat is coming. It really is hit and miss with the planets and Jupiter is by far the toughest. Seeing really needs to be a 5 to get it just right, this was a 3.5 to 4. Focus is the other issue. Bad seeing bad focus. I think I just lucked out on this one because I still have another 100gb of AVI that is mostly trash. Flag would be a great place to get the planets from given the altitude. I will be up at Bonito in the summer. I will let you know when. We could have a star party at the base of the volcano:) You could teach me a thing or two about DSO Capture.

Philip - nice work. You need to come up to Flagstaff some day and show me how to do this.
