That is cool Trevor, I took my very first photo of the moon the same way, unconvesional ways sometimes get great results, nice man.

Hey thanks for the comment Mark! Yes I am shooting Afocal Eyepiece Projection but with no camera mount. I actually have the Orion steady pix mount for my point-and-shoot but I had some trouble with it before so I gave up on it. I just held the camera up to the eyepiece manually as steady as I could... shot in movie mode for about a minute.

Thanks Spike! Love your planetary images. I used a 6" Meade SN on CG-5 Mount, Old Canon Powershot - Movie Mode, then stacked the .avi in Registax 6. Still learning!
